Just attempted to install the new iOS 7.1.2 update and my iphone 4S came up with a screen saying connect to iTunes. Connected it to iTunes and nothing happened. Have tried different leads thinking it maybe that but that didnt work. my iTunes isn't the problem as my iPod is recognised on it and it's updated to the latest version. any ideas??

Are you unable to restore your phone when you connect to iTunes?
Also google DFU mode.
My phone is still not coming up in itunes and nothing is working😠
what happens when you hit restore?
You will need to do this steps a few times.
Nothing is working. I've tried to put it into DFU mode but it was unsuccessful and still won't appear on iTunes..
I also was installing latest upgrade on Iphone 4. It has froze with applie icon on screen and status bar about a quarter way thru. Help

i have same problem but much worst.. i update my iphone4s ios 7.1.1 to 7.1.2 and my iphone CAN'T READ MY SIM, MODEM FIRMWAY GONE, IMEI GONE, and same issue as you guys can't hear sound on my speaker but using earphone works, battery drain much faster than before. Any suggestion guys to Fix my iphone.thanks a lot. APPLE PLEASE FIX. TAKE ACTION.
