I can't get my apple id verification email. FaceTime and messages won't work.

So, I wanted to get messages and FaceTime working on my mac. I setup my apple id credentials in each and they claimed that my account was not verified. I was waiting on the email to complete the verification, but it never came. I even went directly to the site and tried again, but no success. My apple id seems to be "stuck" and I can't get it verified. Any ideas?
