Can't change address for iTunes e-mails

I changed the Apple ID and primary e-mail address for my account. Yet iTunes persists in sending messages to my old address. My attempts to update the address have failed. How do I get this fixed? Thanks.

If you are still receiving iTunes emails to your old address, even after changing the address associated with your Apple ID, you may find the following article helpful:

This was helpful. I was able to reach the Apple ID setting, click Edit and then specify that I wanted e-mails to go to the new address.


Why the change wasn't made automatically is beyond me. And why it should take as long as 10 days to update, as specified in iTunes, is beyond me too.


But at least there's a way to address this. Thanks for the help.
