All day event Issue on iPad 2 Calendar

If I enter a new all day event on my Macbook Pro it appears as a 2 day event on my Ipad2. The issue does not arise on my Iphone 5s.

iOS 7.1.2 and Mavericks 10.9.4 were updated today. All are set to sync with iCloud and when I look at the event on iCloud web page it looks fine. Time zone support and time zone all look fine. Any ideas how to fix this?

Hi AlDouglas,

If you are having issues with synced all-day events showing up as two-day events on your iPad, you may find this article about a similar issue syncing to Outlook helpful. (I know you said you checked, but the most likely cause for this would be a mismatch somewhere in the Time Zone settings.)

Hi - I have had this issue on my Airbook, iPhone 5 and iPad Mini when an all day event is synced. This morning I worked out that the iPhone was set to identify Timezone automatically but when it can't (spinning wheel) - due to (rural / remote?) location of me as user or an internet provider issue related to location or whatever - then it appears the All Day Event then gets spread over two days. When I set the iPhone to manual (the iPad mini was already manual) then the problem went away. I have sent feedback to Apple and suggested the default should not be to two day events on all devices when location can't be found on one device.
