The letters on my keyboard wont show up. It's really hard to text people or just type things in general when I cant see the letters. I've tried restarting it and it didn't work. I don't want to restore it because l wont be able to fix the apps on it. And l don't remember my restriction password either. I really need help and l want any suggestions that don't involve me restoring my iPod.
A reset may help. Tap and hold the Home button and the On/Off buttons for approximately 15-20 seconds, until the Apple logo reappears. When the logo appears, release both buttons.
No content is affected by this procedure.
Turn your iOS device off and on (restart) and reset
I've stated that I've tried that and to no avail any other suggestions??
No, you made no mention of performing a reset as outlined in my post.
yes i did. reset and restart mean the exact same thing. you press the home and lockbutton as if you were taking a screenshot and hold it until the apple logo appears.
Ok, carry on.
Gladly. l appreciate your help, thank you.
If the reset does not work yo will have to restore the iPod. You may have to place the iPod in recovery mode to restore the iPod.
I Actually managed to fix the keyboard. There was an software update so I just updated my ipod and it was all good afterwards.
