Solution for charger that's not working (lightning connector)

I found a simple solution that might also work for you. If your charger is not properly charging your iPhone, iPad, or iPod and instead of wasting money on a new charger give this a try. It might sound a bit silly but lick the lightning connector, and plug it into your device. Trust me, somehow this actually worked for me. If the charger screws up again, repeat the process. Before I came up with this solution, my charger would only charge my iPhone 5s while it was completely shut off, it was really frustrating. Hopefully this might work for many with the same problem, I'm glad I could help!
