It's possible it overheated to the point that it has been physically damaged. If it doesn't work after cooling off, make an appointment at the genius bar and have it evaluated.
What do you actually mean by "exposed to sunlight"? Most iPhones are exposed to sunlight every day. Do you mean you left it in direct sun for a long time? Was it on or off? Is the phone hot? Have you turned it off and let it cool down?

yes i left it in direct sun for along time ,it was on it was too hot , i had turned it off and let it cool down but there is a circle in the middle of the phone flicker
