My safari app is locked up becauswe I can not clear a pop up window that states "Please wait until your previous request completes" The "OK" selection below this message does nothing. If I exit out of Safari, everything else works fine. When I return to Safari, this window immediately returns.
When you re-open Safari, hold the Shift key as you do so.
You may need to force-quit Safari first.
I should have stated that I my problem with Safari is on an I-pad. I don't have an external key board so I wasn't sure how to execute a force-quit.
Force quit the app by double clicking the home button then swiping the app preview up. If that doesn't work try a reset. Press and hold both the home and power buttons 10-15 seconds till the Apple logo appears. Release both buttons. Wait 15-20 seconds till your iPad starts on it's own.
