FaceTime not verifying after login on Macbook

Question

Hi!I have Macbook Pro, version 10.9.4 with Mavericks installed. Two days ago the computer ran a regular software update from App store and after this particular update I got signed out of my FaceTime account. The trouble is that I don&#x27;t get passed the verification page. It keeps on verifying for a while and then the login side appears again. I&#x27;ve tried multiple times to fix this with changing apple id password, checking the time &amp; date under settings, checked the firewall etc.Is anyone else experiencing this problem?Can anyone help me out?

Launch the Console application in any of the following ways:☞ Enter the first few letters of its name into a Spotlight search. Select it in the results (it should be at the top.)☞ In the Finder, select Go ▹ Utilities from the menu bar, or press the key combination shift-command-U. The application is in the folder that opens.☞ Open LaunchPad. Click Utilities, then Console in the icon grid.The title of the Console window should be All Messages. If it isn&#x27;t, select          SYSTEM LOG QUERIES ▹ All Messagesfrom the log list on the left. If you don&#x27;t see that list, select          View ▹ Show Log Listfrom the menu bar at the top of the screen.Click the Clear Display icon in the toolbar. Then try the action that you&#x27;re having trouble with again. Select any messages that appear in the Console window. Copy them to the Clipboard by pressing the key combination command-C. Paste into a reply to this message by pressing command-V.The log contains a vast amount of information, almost all of which is irrelevant to solving any particular problem. When posting a log extract, be selective. A few dozen lines are almost always more than enough.Please don&#x27;t indiscriminately dump thousands of lines from the log into this discussion.Please don&#x27;t post screenshots of log messages—post the text.Some private information, such as your name, may appear in the log. That&#x27;s a problem at Apple&#x27;s end. You can either contact Apple Support, go to a "Genius Bar," or do nothing and hope it will be resolved eventually.

That&#x27;s not not a solution!As i saw your replies on similar problems at the forum, i can tell you it is a 10.9.4 problem.Yosemite is running on a 2nd/older MacBook Pro (3,1) and FaceTime/iMessage is working.I have cloned my HardDrive about 4 weeks ago (10.9.2). Booted the external system and FaceTime and iMessage is working.Now I&#x27;m figuring out if my TimeMachine Backup 3 days ago with 10.9.3 was fine… i think so. if not i try a clean 10.9.3.would be nice if apple would fix it asap.

MacBook Air 13" late 2010.  I used to use FaceTime a lot on my MacBook Air - then, a few months ago, it stopped working, got stuck on "Verifying".  (I could still use FaceTime on iPhone and iPad.)  This fixed it for me:1     Try and log in to Messages (not FaceTime) on MacBook.  Get the following message:     "Apple needs more information to complete your iMessage registration. Please call AppleCare in your country (listed below) and provide them with the following validation code:"2     Called AppleCare.  Managed to connect to real person without paying.  He verified my apple id with me.  I gave him the code.  5 minutes late, able to log in to Messages and FaceTime.
