Unable to Activate both PBS and PBS Kids on AppleTV

Hello,

I'm having trouble registering PBS Kids channel on Apple TV, I think because I've already activated PBS using the same account.

I created a PBS.org account in order to activate PBS on my Apple TV, and it works great. Recently, PBS Kids was added as a separate channel. However, when I enter the activation code on PBS.org/activate, I get the error "This Apple TV is already associated with an account." It's already associated with my account from PBS, but that apparently neither unlocks PBS Kids, nor will it let me activate both. I suppose I could create another dummy account, but I was hoping there was a solution.

Thank you! -Joe

Try using the following link:

www.pbskids.org/activate/

(you must have the / at the end of the link in order for the link to work)

It will then prompt you to enter your regular PBS.org account info. If you do not have an existing account, you can create one at this point. Enter in your PBS Kids activation code from the Apple TV when prompted and it should connect you. This worked perfectly for me.

Good Luck!

I followed the instructions on the Apple TV and the PBS Kids web site but when I get to the page on the web site to pick my local PBS channel it does nothing no matter how many times I click on my local station.

This process does not seem to work reliably. Pretty frustrating for something that should be dead simple.
