I uninstalled itunes because i could not update it. now when i try to install it it comes up with this
"error getting file security: C:\programdata\Apple\Apple Application Support\kdrl\GetLastError:5"
Can you please help me.

Delete the folder C:\ProgramData\Apple\Apple Application Support then try again.

This partially worked for me but then I had another similar error so I deleted the C:\ProgramData\Apple\Installer Cache\ directory and it was successful. This was on windows 10 pro 64 bit
You might not need to do a remove - changing the security permissions on the affected directory worked for me, as described here:
I'm using W10, and the problem showed up trying to install iTunes 12.3.2.25.
