Deleting Launch Daemons

When I run EtreCheck I see this:

Problem System Launch Daemons:

[running] com.cpsww.ppupsd.plist

It is a remnant of previously uninstalled PowerPanel software for a CyberPower UPS. EtreCheck says:

  • Problem System Launch Daemons:
These are any low-level, Apple-provided parts of your operating system. Any failure that appears here may indicate a problem with your system. No 3rd party software should be listed here. If there are any 3rd party programs here, they should be uninstalled.

I don't see this in /Library/LaunchAgents. Can someone tell me where to find this Launch Daemon to delete it?

After 4 days of searching and trying, I finally found the solution!

Using Finder (Under the folder "Library"), go to your "LaunchDaemons" folder and delete everything in there. Then go to "Internet Plug-ins" folder and delete everything except for "default browser". I also deleted everything in my "LaunchAgents" folder. Restart your macbook and TaDaaaa! Magic. My browsers all work again!

If LaunchDaemons folder is deleted from system library in that condition

( a ) press command + J choose as name

( b) go to go folder type /Library

User uploaded file

Take the cursor on top menu bar, and click on file > new folder - in the field type LaunchDaemons

No spelling mistakes in LaunchDaemons also there is no space in between the word , L and D are capital .

LaunchDaemons will be set in system library alphabetically .

Please delete third party software installed , & it has deleted LaunchDameons folder .

Thanks !

To find out Remnants of a software please look in user library : macOS Sierra: Library folder

See in Launch Agents , input methods , internet plugins , application support , caches , cookies , saved application state , Preferences , Input Methods , Internet Plug -ins , Logs ,

Also , it has to be checked in system library : Click on finder > Go > Computer > Macintosh HD > Library > check the folders Application support , Caches , Extensions , Frameworks , Input Methods , Internet Plug-ins , Launch Agent , Launch Daemons , Logs , Preferences , Scripting Additions , Start up items .

How do you know what is third party software as opposed to not third party software? for example: should I delete com.microsoft.office.licensing.helper.plist? com.OptiBuy.agent.plist? It seems to me I should NOT delete microsoft office stuff but for sure get rid of opti-buy. But I'm guessing. There's also com.brother.Loginserver.plist. We have a brother and we log in sometimes to their server. Would deleting this mean I can't do that? Seems like I could just go there again and log in again so harmless to delete. And none of this has anything to do with the stupid Mackeeper and Macafee software that is blocking me at every turn and which I CANNOT find anywhere.

Really, I just want to know how to distinguish 3rd party software. And if you know how I can get rid of the the Mackeeper and Macafee popups, that would be a help. I have popups blocked and have been through the library/launch process and the Daemons and everywhere else I can think to look and can't find them.
