unable to use Safari with many websites

I have the latest OSX and Safari browser. Many problems are now occurring - some are listed below.:

I have been unable to use some bank websites with Safari although Firefox works fine. The banks in question have indicated to me that they do not support Safari and have no intention to do so. A site loads, but the action buttons do not display.

My prescription web site does not fully load. The site loads, but the action buttons do not display.

My VA website does not fully load. The site loads, but the action buttons do not display.

Major league baseball does not load properly. On the “Scores” page, I get a blue screen with a white 1//2 inch column on the right side of the page. The page is flash. If I click on the white area to select and then press Command and + the page loads properly. Some of the other pages do not fully display data.

What is your question? Use a different browser that the sites in question actually support.

This is a user forum. We can't do anything about it.

If you want to submit feedback to Apple, feel free to do so.

Safari worked before and now it does not. Using another browser is not the answer.

From the Safari menu bar, select

Safari ▹ Preferences... ▹ Extensions

Turn all extensions OFF and test. If the problem is resolved, turn extensions back ON and then disable them one or a few at a time until you find the culprit.

I'm working through my extensions verification as suggested, and it appears to be solving my Safari problems.

I have a similar issue in that all HTTPS sites now say "Safari cannot locate server: or something like that. This is on both my Macs running 9.0.1 Safari---one running El Capitan and the other running Yosemite 10.10.5

They work fine in Chrome

Very frustrating....

I have NO extensions.
