How can I install windows 7 on a jump drive

I am having trouble installing windows-7 on a jump drive. A person at the genius bar told me I could do this. I have converted the jump drive (64 GB) to a FAT format, but I have not found a way to save the W-7 (32-bit) on the jump drive. The only option seems to be installing through bootcamp into a partition on my Mac. Can anyone help?

Windows 7 can only be installed to an NTFS formatted drive. Also, Windows itself doesn't allow booting to an external drive, so it's a waste of time installing Win 7 to a jump drive in the first place. There is one workaround for external devices, but it only works with Thunderbolt drives.
