if i install windows 7 on a g5 mac can i run the latest windows programs?

i need help on this quicktime because i need sony vegas 13 and mac does not run it and my iMac G5 is too outdated to use finalcut pro X

Hi, no G5 or any other PPC Mac can run/use/install Windows 7, in fact XP was/is the latest Windows you could run on a PPC, & that required VPV7, which runs really slow.

The iMac G5 was compatible with certain versions of iMovie, iDVD, Final Cut Express, and earlier versions of Final Cut Pro.

The only thing it probably can't do very well is make modern Flash animations or use modern Java. Though it can usually playback Youtube and older Flash animations. What exactly are you trying to do?
