Canvas video playback second monitor

Having an odd, annoying, tic with Motion 5.1.1. I couldn't find into about it here, so if I missed it please feel free to point me in the appropriate direction.

My set up

I have two monitors on that AMD Radeon card, which gets at the crux of my issue.

Whenever I first start the program my Canvas is set to be on the second monitor but it only shows black. If I SCRUB I see the video but if I try to PLAYBACK I get only black.

The only cure for it I've found is to go to VIEW set Canvas to Main Window. Then immediately set it back to the Second Monitor. Then no problems the rest of the session until I close Motion and open it again.

Anyone got any thoughts? It's really more an annoyance than anything else but it be great to find a solution.
