Anyway to get out of recovery mode without using computer?

Hi there,

im on holiday in America and realised I had an update so I agreed to update and my phone instantly went into recovery mode. I'm from the UK if that makes any difference. Is there anyway I can get out of this without loosing all my information or is apple capable of doing so as I have a lot of important information saved on my phone. I really hope they can.

I have made an appointment with them for Saturday. I don't even understand why it has went into recovery mode. Is it something to do with the compatibility issues of American and UK software. If it is then surely it should be unable to do. Surely they can do something as I do have a lot of stuff I need for work. I didn't even make a backup as I didn't expect something this silly to happen.

Must be from the UK not spelling program correctly 😁

Seriously, there does not seem to be a reason why some iOS devices lock up and go into recovery mode while others have no problems at all. There have been quite a few the past few days since iOS 7.1.2 came out asking about what to do as they went into recovery mode. All we as fellow users can do is say that we know of no solution, and another good reason to backup regularly. Of course, no one wants to hear that at the time...neither would I.

Take it in and just see if they have anything to offer we don't know about on here.

Haha🙂 I have used iphones since the 3GS and I have never had a problem. It's just annoying how the one time I keep important information the phone goes into restore randomly. is there really nothing I can do at all? My phone was acting weird when I clicked to update. It froze and then restarted then said I had no blacking storage left then went into recovery mode.
