I connect my camera to the computer, but it does not show up in finder... what could the problem be? In the end, I can´t import new pictures from my camera..
What specific camera?
Did Finder see the camera before?
If you open iPhoto or Image Capture can you import them?

It's a Canon 5D. Usually, whatever I device connect to my compute (extra hard drive, camera, cd whatever) shows up in finder to the left.
Now there´s nothing there when I connect my camera.
(I´m trying to begin to use Lightroom but i'm not sure that is the reason. Shouldn´t the camera show up as connected regardless of what program I use.)

Googling shows that there are problems importing photos from a 5D into a Mac.
- Best way seems to be to use a USB card reader
- Use Image Capture
