Whenever i open any application form the launchpad or dock my dreamweaver app too opens up. If its hidden it pops up, if I had quit it earlier it will still open up as soon as I open any other app which not open. Kindly advice. Thanks.
Go to your User's Library folder. If Lion or higher it's hidden.
**Show Library Folder:
Select the Finder in the Dock. Under Go in the Menu bar > hold down the Option key and you’ll see the Library.
Scroll down to Preferences.
Drag com.apple.LaunchServices.plist to the Desktop.
Log out under the Apple in the Menu bar.
Log in and test.
If the problem does not go away, create a new User in System Preferences or log into the Guest account and see if the problem goes away.
If you still need help, please include what version OS X is installed. Look under Apple in the Menu bar > About this Mac to get version installed.

I don't see the file com.apple.LaunchServices.plist anywhere within the folder, not even if I search the mac.
I am using OS X 10.9.3 on a macbook pro mid 2012

Are you looking in the right folder? It's hidden by default. See this blog article that has images on how to show the User's Library.
