AirPort Extreme and Motorola SB6141

Previous posts (in 2013) discuss incompatibility with Motorola SB61641 and AirPort Extreme. Do these problems still exist? I recently upgraded my modem on my Comcast Xfinity service to the Motorola SB61641 and want to change my current wifi to AirPort Extreme & Expresses. My modem is first connected to Cisco/Lynksis router. Any current issues or thoughts?
