black screen and makes sounds

so my iPhone 4 has a black screen but was still on and working. i plugged it into my mac and I tried pushing the on/off and the home button for about a minute and no apple logo showed stayed black but wasn't making any sounds anymore. so then i let the batter drain. and then i plugged it back in to restore it and i did restore but still with a black screen. it was also making sounds every 5 seconds and still is now. Please help. how do i fix the black screen and make the noise stop.

Hey there Lucerito014,

It sounds like you phone is not displaying anything, even after a restore. I would next attempt a reset while you have the device connected to the wall adapter that came with it:

To reset, press and hold both the Sleep/Wake and Home buttons for at least 10 seconds, until you see the Apple logo.

Turn your iOS device off and on (restart) and reset
