smtpout.secureserver.net rejected password ploblem

I have 3 different e-mail accounts useing the same pop mail service. two work fine. one (my main e-mail account) can nolonger send e-mails. I get " The SMTP server “smtpout.secureserver.net” rejected the password for user" message. The password works if I log in to the web mail. The account gets messages using the same password. I check the settings compared to the working accounts and all settings are the same. any ideas?

Hello, and welcome to the Discussions.

If you are using three accounts, with the same service, then all three should be using the same SMTP, in normal situations. If you open Mail Preferences/Accounts/Account Information, and click on the arrows beside the name of the SMTP selected, how many choices for this smtpout.secureserver.net server are there? If more than one, and this SMTP requires Password Authentication, do they differ only by the Username that has been appended, or the absence of an appended Username?
