Artwork black/blurry for Podcast

Hi All,

I couldn't find a forum discussion on this particular topic so I'm posting here in hopes of getting some help. My new podcast has been approved and posted in iTunes. However, the artwork on the iTunes web page is all black with a little read from my logo showing. The artwork on the iTunes app shows up but is very very pixelated. When viewing the artwork on the podcast app on an iPhone and iPad the artwork shows up, but are pixelate as well.

The first image I used when I submitted to iTunes, I used a PNG file which I figured out via these forums was not recommended. I reloaded the artwork as JPEG 1500x1500 72PPI with RGB colors (and a new completed new filename) which is what Blubrry Powerpress recommends.

Is this a case of iTunes not reindexing my podcast or still an issue with my logo.

The image referenced in the feed is fine - though 1400 x 1400 is the recommended size I can't see 1500 x 1500 being a problem. The file size is within limits, it's clear and sharp, and reduces well without pixellation.

The web page version of the Store is showing the weird black and red version, while the Store itself in iTunes is showing the colours correctly though somewhat pixellated. If this was caused by the previous version of the image (did it have an alpha image? that could cause problems) it could simply be that the Store hasn't updated yet - it can take some days for a new image to appear, so if you changed it relatively recently it may just be a question of waiting.

Hi Roger,

Thanks for your quick response! I'll just be patient and see if iTunes reindexes the podcast and hopefully updates the artwork. I appreciate your help!
