Apps not updating

When I tap on the App Store on my iPhone 5 to update apps, I tap on the update button, the screen to sign in to iTunes Store pops up, I enter my password and hit OK. The app appears to start then stops and the "update" button appears again. Any suggestions on how to fix?

Any restrictions set up in Settings/General/Restrictions? if yes, disable them and try again.

Resetting the phone by holding the sleep and home button for about 10sec, until the Apple logo comes back might also help.


Are you logged in with the same account info as when you bought the apps?

Check your account info in Settings/iTunes and AppStore/Apple ID
