I am trying to copy a slide show w/background music on my desk top IMAC to a DVD on the UBS super drive. I have tried copying it first to my desktop then to a blank DVD no luck. Someone told me I need to use a DVD-RW not a DVD-R not sure that is correct but this should be an easy task and it's not! HELP!!!

You can burn photos, albums, and video clips to disc, but you can’t directly burn slideshows or projects (such as books, cards, and calendars) created in iPhoto.

Export the slide show from iPhoto as a QuickTime Movie to the desktop. The in thefinder burn that movie to DVD. You need QT Player on the computer that will be playing the slideshow
