my iphone4s will not connect to itunes using my new acer computer

I bought a new Acer R7 laptop and logged into iTunes, thinking my iPhone would automatically be recognized but iTunes continually gives an error message saying it cannot recognize phone. A message does show up on my iPhone asking if I trust the computer and I hit yes. Then I get the Error message. Any ideas?

It sounds like your iPhone isn't being recognized by your Acer laptop. The tips in the article linked below should help prevent that alert from popping up after you choose to Trust the computer on your iPhone.
