After new OS X update 10.9.4, You tube videos do not play in safari 7.0.5 it always give error message "an error occurred, please try later ..but it play on Google Crome.
I also updated Adobe Flash Player but nothing work. Please help me run Youtube videos on safari again. Thank you.
It should work on v10.9.4 and Safari 7.0.5 ...
Open System Preferences > Flash Player then select the Advanced tab.
Click Delete All under Browsing Data and Settings
Then from your Safari menu bar click Safari > Preferences then select the Privacy tab.
Click: Remove All Website Data
Then delete the Safari cache.
Open a Finder window. From the Finder menu bar click Go > Go to Folder
Type or copy paste the following
~/Library/Caches/com.apple.Safari/Cache.db
Click Go then move the Cache.db file to the Trash.
Quit and relaunch Safari to test.
If nothing above helped, troubleshoot Safari extensions.
From the Safari menu bar click Safari > Preferences then select the Extensions tab. Turn that OFF, quit and relaunch Safari to test.
If that helped, turn one extension on then quit and relaunch Safari to test until you find the incompatible extension then click uninstall.

yes i did everything ..but nothing happened ...when i saw in system preferences.... NPAPI Plug-in version 14.0.0.145 is installed and PPAPI Plug-in is not installed.
because of PPAPI plug-in not installed that's why occur this problem ..
Those videos who r using on HTML 5 are running and those using Adobe Flash Player are not running ..

System Preference-Network-select the current WIFI you are using-Advanced-DSN-Select +
ADD the following DNS servers
8.8.8.8
8.8.4.4
It will resolved the issue.

just update your flash player.even you can reinstall it for better result.
just update you adobe player . reinstall it if you can.
Now i am using safari 7.1 so my problem is solved all videos are playing now ...
if u still facing the problem using HTML5 player instead of Flash player , go to this is the link ..
click it "Request the HTML5 player " and reboot system all videos start playing in HTML5 video player ..
