iTunes movie disappeared overnight?

I recently rented a movie on my mac. It took SO long to download that I let it download overnight. I'm not actually sure if it finished or not, cause when I woke up, the movie mysteriously disappeared. It wasn't in downloads or the library, and I know for sure that I paid for it because I got a billing statement from iTunes. Please help!

Hello there, XxSilverflameXx.

Many users reporting your issue have found that signing out and then back into their iTunes account has resolved the issue you're describing:

iTunes 11 for Mac: Manage your iTunes Store account

http://support.apple.com/kb/PH12299

This section in particular will help you with that:

Sign in to or out of the iTunes Store

After you set up an Apple ID account (or if you’re using an existing AOL account instead), you can sign in to theiTunes Store to buy music and video, view or change your account information, and see your purchase history.

When you finish using the store, you can sign out to prevent anyone else who has access to your computer from making purchases using your account.

Choose Store > Sign In (or Sign Out).

You can also sign in to your account by clicking Sign In at the top of the iTunes Store window:

If you continue to have the issue persists, then you will want to report the issue with your purchase using the following information:

How to report an issue with your iTunes Store, App Store, Mac App Store, or iBooks Store purchase
