iPod being used by other devices???
When I go to sink my iPod I get the message that "sink failed." Then I try to "restore factory settings" and it says it can't because my iPod is being used by another device. Makes no sense!
If you have antivirus software that might prevent iTunes getting exclusive access to the device. You could try the DFU Restore method from Corrupt iPod classic.
