Guided Access with Screensaver

I am using iPad with iOS 7.1 in Guided Access mode as a kiosk. The problem is that I cannot put a screen saver to it. I guess, by definition, Guided access mode is only for running one application. A screensaver would mean I am running a second application, which is not allowed. There are many screensaver apps.

How can I use a screen saver app in Guided Access mode. I would like screen saver to get activated after 5 min of idle time.

If the app you are running in Guided Access mode is custom built, an option is to speak with the developer to create a screensaver into the app. We've done that before with apps developed for iPad, and should (depending on how the app is developed) be relatively easy to accomplish.
