My apple ID password is apparently incorrect when I try to sign in to ICloud. Why is this?

I am using a Mac OSX version 10.9.4 and I want to access iCloud. However, when I enter my Apple ID password for my me.com mail account I get an error message saying that it is incorrect. Can anybody help?

I understand you are not able to sign into your iCloud Apple ID because you are getting a password alert. I would suggest changing / updating the password so you can gain access. The following link has detailed instructions for how to update your Apple ID password.
