how do I install my 2010 Apple TV module?

I just received an Apple TV 2010 model MC572LL/A (A1378) as a gift. It is used and in the original box with the Apple remote and power cord. There are no instructions for proper installation to my (network)(system)(computer)(television).

Do I need to connect it to my TV? I assume it is wireless from the packaging. It has an HDMI port, a USB-mini port and a LAN port; which would be preferable to use on which device?

I am not evev sure how to use it at this time, but if I can properly install the module, I think I can figure it out. I am still looking for an install guide on the net.

Thanks in advance for any assistance.

It is as simple as plugging in the power, and connecting to your TV via HDMI. Then follow the setup prompts. As long as you have an HDTV that supports 720P, and is HDCP compliant (refer to your TV manual if unsure) you will be fine.

The micro USB port, is only to be used if the device becomes unresponsive. You would connect to a computer, running iTunes, to restore it.

It is a wifi device, you can also connect via ethernet.
