I Used to have iCloud photo sharing enabled between my devices. One day my hard disk crashed and I lost several pictures. However I can see them inside my Apple TV when browsing cloud photos. They are not on iCloud because I deactivated the sharing option and they got deleted.
So the only place they current exist is inside my Apple TV, but how can I take them out?

Nothing is stored on Apple TV, it is a streaming only device and is accessing the cloud. Deactivating would only remove the photos from that device. Have you tried to turn on photo stream on your computer?
I forgot to add that I turned photo streaming off for all my devices. So when I turned it back on, streaming was clear... Today I can only see those pictures on the Apple TV, not on iCloud on my Mac or iPhone... so where are they stored?
Apple TV is accessing the stream. The only things that are temporarily cached are photos used for the screensaver.
It is always important to have a regular backup routine with an external drive, if you can't access the photos on your devices then I'm afraid you won't be able to retrieve them.

As I said they are temporarily cached, as soon as you access other photos they will be flushed. There is no accessible drive on the unit. If you don't have a backup you are out of luck I'm afraid.
