How do you turn on airplane mode on the MacBook Pro?

I want to use my laptop on the plane; I'm wanting to get on Safari during the flight. You know how you have to put your phone on airplane mode? Do you have to put the laptop on airplane mode in order to use the wifi? My question is - does the MacBook Pro have the airplane mode; and how do you turn it on (I need step by step instructions)? I know how to turn it on on my phone - you go in the settings.

There is no AirPlane Mode on an MBP, but you can come close by going to System Preferences > Bluetooth and turn that off. You will need to have WiFi on, through System Preferences > Network, to access the airline's WiFi so you can use Safari. When allowed, go to System Preferences > Network and select the WiFi network for the airplane and follow the instructions they give you for connecting.
