How do I sync my iphone 5s with itunes to transfer music to the phone? While plugged in the phone doesn't appear in 'devices'.
Is the phone connected to your computer's USB 2.0 port?
it is connected to a usb port
plus it's supposed to do the transfer wirelessly I read
Not sure what to tell you at this point. You could first disconnect your iPhone and then quit iTunes. Then reconnect the iPhone. What does it then display on the iPhone screen? If you see the a cable being connected to an image of iTunes, then open iTunes to see if it picks up your device this time. If you still have no success, then I would try another cable if you have one or make a Genius Appointment and take it in for service.
