hi: i have a g4 500 mhz power pc. i would like to get internet on my g4 500 through hotspot on my iPhone. the computer has no airport, wifi, blue tooth, only eathernet. please help?
If the computer has no airport, wifi, blue tooth then there is no way to use the hotspot on your iPhone.
You can't use Ethernet to connect to an iPhone's hotspot.
How do you do that. i have a airport express hooked to ethernet??

If you're running 10.5.8 on the G4, one of these will give you Wifi...

Ah, no drivers for that one then, there were older USB Wifi dongles that did have 10.3.9 & 10.4.11 drivers, but haven't seen any available lately.
Might research an Ethernet Wifi device, they normally don't need drivers.

Well, it might do it set to Bridge mode, but not sure if you can do it oin 10.3.x...

There is an Airport Utility on the iPhone which can set the Airport Express settings (available in iPhone App Store). Once it is setup correctly, the ethernet cable connected to the G5 should provide the wifi connection (almost acting as a wifi dongle).

To configure Airport Express your going to have to find a mac or windows machine that will run the Airport Express app.

Airport Express is an external unit and you can configure it as a bridge. 802.11n ( You will need a more modern version of Mac OS X to configure.
