Q: Changing Institution Name

I am going to be transferring to a different school. I currently have an account under one institution name. Can I transfer this iTunes U Course to another Institution? The school I am going to will also be 1:1 iPad. I have 2 courses made, one of which has over 7000 downloads. I'd like to stay connected to those people. Thanks!

    I recently did this without any issues.  The courses are always owned by you so when you move to another school the courses remain in your account.  Just open the course and edit the settings to change the name of the institution.

    Thanks. Would this still work if my new school is not signed up as an institution yet? They are going 1:1 this year...I've looked for them online, but they aren't a choice.

     

    Also, since my previous school is the school that made my courses public, will my courses remain public with the change? Thank you for the help!

    You will not be able to change the institution if the course is still published to their site.  Their admin will need to remove it from their public site, then you can edit the institution field to anything you want -- your new school doesn't need to be signed up.
