My i phone Charger exploded whilst plugged into my ipad, this is the second time . Two onths ago another chager exploded whilst charging my iphone ?
Am I unlucky or is there a product fault ?
Where did you buy the chargers? I haven't heard of a problem with Apple chargers (doesn't mean there couldn't be one) but have seen numerous reports of problems with 3rd party chargers. The following may have some information: https://www.apple.com/support/usbadapter-takeback/

What are you calling a "charger"? The thing that plugs into the wall, or the cable from that thing to the phone? Assuming its the thing that plugs into the wall, are you sure it was an Apple "thing", either that came with a new phone, or that was purchased at an Apple store. There are lots of counterfeit "things" that look exactly like real Apple products.

Both the chargers were Apple originals, one from a recently bought i pad and one from an iphone. I do not buy non original products.
The product that exploded was the three pin plug USB charger. Photo attached
As Fox said, there is a recall, I don't know if its your model, but you can check the model number. If you take it to an Apple store they will replace it. That looks like a serious problem.
