hello my airplay is turned on via the Apple TV but for some reason the airplay icon is not being displayed on my iPad mini what should I do ?.
I'M having the same problem with my iPad 2.... No AirPlay icon !
I Tried rebooting both the iPad, the Apple Tv and my wifi and none of those fixed my problem.
i Updated both the iPad and Apple TV to the latest software.
that is all I know how to do.... And I still have no AirPlay icon on my iPad 2.
sorry I can't be of any help, I just wanted to add what I tried since i have the same problem.
I Was able to fix my problem using Vazandrew's suggestions.
My airplay is turned on from the Apple TV but the airplay icon is not being displayed on my iPad mini but it worked when I first got it
