Esquire magazine app will not start. There is an update. I tap it to download, it goes to the revolving circle for a second and then reverts to the update button.
Esquire also has an app for the iPhone. I'd like to download it, but the exact same thing happens when I tap the download button on my iPhone.
Other apps have been updating and downloading correctly on both devices.
It may be worth getting in touch with the App Developer regarding this in the first instance. You can get their details from the App page for the app in question. As this is happening on both iPad and iPhone it's likely to be a bug in the app.

- go to settings>itunes & app store
- tap on apple id and sign out
- force quit all apps iOS: Force an app to close
- restart your iPad
- go to settings>itunes & app store
- sign back into apple id
- try updating the app

The the app developer did get back to me - sent a bunch of lame-duck solutions, like restarting my ipad, etc.
ios decipher: that solution did not work, unfortunately. Does anyone have ant idea what my next step might be?
