Triplets Entered in Piano Roll Are Incorrect in Score View

Triplets Entered in Piano Roll Are Incorrect in Score View. I'm using 2/4 time signature, with grid divisions set to 24 (i.e., sixteenth note triplets). In the Piano Roll I enter a measure with these durations: Quarter note triplett, two sixteenth triplets, quarter note triple, two sixteenth triplets

Note this is a total of two beats. But when I switch to Score view it converts it to: Dotted eighth note, sixteenth note, dotted eighth note, sixteenth note.

Any suggestions?

Tie the first two eighth note triplets (i.e., the C and B) together. That is, replace the C and B with a single C of quarter note triplet duration. BTW, I couldn't figure out how to enter that into the Score editor, which is why I entered it into the Piano Roll first.

Just enter a quarter note, place the <n> sign upove, make your triplet choice in the upcoming editor and you're done!

Please forgive my novice LPX level of knowledge. I can enter the first quarter note triplet but it automatically inserts two quarter note triplet rests after it. Explicit steps to get this sequence would be greatly appreciated: QuarterNoteTriplet, SixteenthNoteTriplet, SixteenthNoteTriple
