Hi
I'm using Mavericks 10.9.4 and I've had to create a new user account as Quark 10 was crashing in the old log in due, apparently, to a corrupted account. All seems fine except the little house symbol with my name against it that should appear in the sidebar (as it does in my original log in account) is missing in the newly created account. Both the original and the new accounts are admin - any ideas?

Have you gone to your Finder preferences too ensure you have the home folder enabled to display in the sidebar? Simply select Finder > Preferences, then Sidebar, and check the items you want to display.

Thanks Alex. All sorted, In finder I went to "Go>Go to folder" then typed /users in the box which brought up the little house symbol and I was able to then see it in the side bar.
