how do i enable 4g on ipad mini

Hi,

I am a Newbie

I cannot get 4g to work on my iPad Mini.

I bought the iPad mini in the UK with Wifi + Cellular

I have enabled 4g in settings and have the correct carrier settings (vodafone)

I have been into vodafone store and they cannot help any further as they believe it is a device setting.

I can receive cellular signal (3g)

I can connect to wi-fi

I have taken the sim out of my iPhone 5s and tried it in the Ipad Mini and stil get 3g, (the iphone 5s is ok on 4g)

I have taken the sim out of iPad mini and put into iPhone 5s and it can reive 4g ok on the that.

The sim is registered with carrier.

I have reset network settings

I have also done a factory reset and restore.

I hope someone in the community can help further

Are you in a compatible 4g area? If you can get 3g okay then I think it may be an 4G coverage issue for your area. Not sure if you are in the UK or not, but if you are this may help: http://www.vodafone.co.uk/4g/index.htm?cid=ps-car-auto/h/4h/lcc/dvyn

Did you ever manage to fix this as I am having exactly the same problem...

4g Vodafone - iPad Mini - 3G fine but will not connect to 4G - I am definitely in a suitable coverage area...
