So I had to change my apple id to an email address for security reasons.
Fine, change it, now have to verify it by pressing the request verification email button in manage your account.
Only problem is no matter how many times I press the button, from both my iMac or macbook pro, no verification email is sent!! This is the most frustrating thing I have encountered in a very long time!
How do I now verify my email address so I can log back into our apple account??
Make sure you check your spam/junk folder as well as your inbox. If it isn't there, you might need to contact your email provider to confirm that they aren't blocking messages from applied@id.apple.com.
It's good to have more than one email address for verification. I've seen users not able to get into the account that is set as secondary then they are out of luck when trying to reset their password.
Try adding another email and see if you get a verification email.
