hello, I have a macboockpro, version 10.9, 4G memory. I want to install Logic Pro X, someone can tell me if the program will run smoothly? Or I have to buy more memory? Somebody help me. thank you

Should be just fine. Here are the minimum system requirements.

4GB of RAM
Display with 1280-by-768 resolution or higher
OS X v10.8.4 or later
Requires 64-bit Audio Units plug-ins
Minimum 5GB of disk space. 35GB of optional content available via in-app download.

Thanks, Yes I know what the program requires. My question is if you only have 4G of memory Logic X will go well, that is if it will not stop a few times when working.

I have 8GB in my iMac which seems absolutely fine. I guess it depends whether you plan to use lots of samples or plugins that use a lot of RAM. Personally I would go for at least 8GB.

You'll just need more RAM if you're planning on buying instrument libraries from East West. 🙂
