macbook battery pack warped
I have an old MacBook (not sure of exact model as was second hand) and I have a problem with the battery.
Since I got it a year ago it needed to be on charge constantly to work or even turn on etc.
I noticed the 'battery pack' (?) on the back was swollen/not fitting properly so tried removing it. It is definitey warped or somehitng as it will now no longer fit back in and I am unable to turn on or use the laptop.
Please can anyone give me a steer on whether this sounds like the problem and if so whether it can be repared? Or do I need to buy a new battery pack? How will I know what type to get and how much do they cost etc? Sorry for all the questions - I am not techy at all!
Thanks in advance!
