Is there a simple Applescript out there that can be exported as a .app through the editor to pop up a window showing the users local IP WiFi or Ethernet and also their hostname ?
Im trying to find some examples.

set hostname to host name of (get system info)
set formatted to "Hostname: " & hostname & return & "Address: " & currentIP

What do I need to have it display the connection type its using do LAN / WiFi ?
So far I have
en0=`ipconfig getifaddr en0 2>&1`
en1=`ipconfig getifaddr en1 2>&1`
But these need to be defined more and placed correctly ?
