Please describe the problem in as much relevant detail as possible. The "etrecheck" fad hasn't made that step any less necessary. The better your description, the better the chance of a solution.

For example, if the computer is slow, which specific actions are slow? Is it slow all the time, or only sometimes? When did it start to be slow? Did you change anything just before it started? Have you seen any alerts or error messages? Have you done anything to try to fix it? Most importantly, do you have a current backup of all data? If the answer to the last question is "no," back up now. Ask if you need guidance. Do nothing else until you have a backup.

Help with what?

You haven't described a problem, but there are several potential sources of trouble.

Safari Extensions:

Dashlane: Version: 2.4.1.62949

Omnibar: Version: 1.2

PriceBlink: Version: 4.1

Unless you know the purpose of those extensions and have reason for using them, uninstall them.

Don’t install browser extensions unless you understand their purpose. Go to the Safari menu > Preferences > Extensions. If you see any extensions that you do not recognize or understand, simply click the Uninstall button and they will be gone.

User Internet Plug-ins:

NPRoblox: Version: 1, 2, 8, 25 - SDK 10.9 Support

npBcsMcTcIO: Version: (null) Support

Dashlane: Version: Dashlane 1.0.0 - SDK 10.7 Support

Anything with an undecipherable name is probably attempting to mask its true purpose. In the case of "npBcsMcTcIO", I believe it's a coupon printer or something like it.

Most of those things are used to cause Internet searches to be redirected to sites for someone's benefit other than your own, or to deliver targeted advertising you may not want. If you don't know what that one is, uninstall it. To do that read: Safari: Unsupported third-party add-ons may cause Safari to unexpectedly quit or have performance issues

To remove unwanted modifications in Firefox, perform actions equivalent to the above.

The same applies to "com.coupons.coupond.plist":

  • Don’t supply your password in response to a popup window requesting it, unless you know what it is and the reason your credentials are required.
  • Never install something without first knowing what it is, what it does, how it works, and how to get rid of it when you don’t want it any more.

Google Drive has been known to cause problems, but given that Google's reasons for supplying "free" software are primarily for its own benefit, it may be working precisely as Google intends. Use Google's products as you wish, but by doing so you must accept the detrimental effect on your Mac's performance, and you must forfeit an unknown amount of what you may consider private details of your personal life.

- Omnibar is related to the Spygot malware. Delete the Omnibar, like John Galt said. Read about Spygot and how to remove it in TheSafeMac.com.

Uninstall the others also as John advised, and the "com.coupons.coupond.plist."

- You have an old Java installed: uninstall it: in SystemPreferences open Java and disable it. Restart. Then rightclick (CTL+click) this Java applet in SystemPreferences, choose "remove", then in Finder go to MacintoshHD->Library->LaunchDaemons and in this folder delete both "com.oracle.java...." entries, then go to MacintoshHD->Library->LaunchAgents and in this folder delete the "com.oracle.java...." entry.

The funcion of Java is already in Safari.

- one thing that can slow down your mac is AdobeResourceSynchronizer in SystemPreferences->Users&Groups->LoginItems: remove it there with the minus sign underneath, it will not uninstall it but prevent starting it up when you restart the mac. I propose to uninstall it (after a restart).

- in Finder: click the GO menu, press the Alt(option) key and choose Library then open the LaunchAgents folder and in this folder delete the "com.google.keystone.agent.plist " entry: this is adobe's update searcher that enters internet about every 10 seconds.......

- check that GoogleDrive is up to date.

------

Make a good backup strategy !!!
