I have an ipod 4th generation 32 gb. I have had it for 3 years now and it stopped charging all of a sudden. My warranty has obviously expired. When it is off it charges but when on, it doesnt. HELP

- Try another charging source
- Inspect the dock connector on the iPod for bent or missing contacts, foreign material, corroded contacts, broken, missing or cracked plastic.
- Make an appointment at the Genius Bar of an Apple store.
