Question

Indesign CS3 crashes when printing in Mavericks.

Hello all.

As the question states, when I go to print in Indesign CS3 it crashes. I have recently updated to OS X Mavericks and updated the drivers as suggested by Epson's own website, though a little misleading.

I own an Epson Stylus SX200.

Hope you can help please as I am desperate to get my young daughter's homework done!!

Thanks for that but it doesn't seem to cure the problem.

What actual drivers do I need to download from Epson please?

I have got into a right state and is confused....totally.

I have just downloaded the following drivers from Epson's site.....
• epson321194eu.dmg

• epson324667eu.dmg
• epson320921eu.dmg

The third won't be accepted by my Mac Pro because it 'no longer supports power pc.'

And still the printer doesn't work!!!!

So why start basically another identical thread?

anything that is so old as to use Rosetta should be abandoned.

CS3 is ancient, and came out as the first post-PowerPC (CS2) to support Intel based Macs with its universal binary, but asking a lot for it to work beyond 10.5.x. CS4 is recommended for Snow Leopard but not everyone did, but at least 10.6 still had Rosetta and some still relied on plug-ins with old PowerPC coding.
